The opener of the way
This blend is a common blend in peru providing grounding and release – a darker blend with high levels of mapacho it has an almost lemony scent with mild sharpness on the nose.
Ajo Sacha
Considered the “opener of the way” in Amazonian shamanic tradition, ajos sacha (Masoa alliacea) is a much respected plant teacher that is used in many contexts: as a tonic, in floral baths, and as an admixture in the ayahuasca brew.
The indigenous Indian tribes of the Amazon use every part of the plant for “magical” or “spiritual” purposes because they believe it is capable of chasing evil spirits away and at the same time, it also has elements of bringing good luck. Tea made from the bark of the herb is fed to dogs among the Shipibo-Conibo Indians in order to make them better hunters. The men of the tribe drink the same tea as well in a way of summoning good luck during the hunting process.
Mucura
Mucura (Petivera alliacea) is also called Anamu and it has a long history in herbal medicine in all of the tropical countries where it grows. Anamu, known also as opossum herb is used it for both medicine and magic.
In the Amazon rainforest, anamu is used also against witchcraft, and in traditional medicine is believed that when inhaled it can be a treatment for sinusitis
Cumala
Cumala (Virola theidora) is a tall tree that grows at low altitudes in various regions of the Amazon, from Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Brazil. Used as a snuff by various tribes in the Amazon, such as the Huitoto and Bora, the Cumala contains high amounts of strong alkaloids and is used because of its magic properties. It is known for its ability to clear heavy and dense energy from the energetic field, negative and cyclical thought patterns and emotions that are arising to be cleansed and cleared from the heart.
