Shawãdawa Kapayuba snuff has beautiful floral notes and a sharpness to it which unbolts long stuck energies. It is a strong blend designed for spiritual work.
Prepared under the power of the full moon with Tsunu ash, natural tobacco and a traditional Shawãdawa medicine called Kapayuba. Used in spiritual works with Ayahuasca to connect with healing songs and to expand the miração, allowing the strengthening of the colors and clarity of the visions. This snuff is also used in material and spiritual healing sessions to amazing effect.
When using it for spiritual purposes, one should always observe the diet, containing little or no salt and sugar to better feel the perceptions we have in our minds and understand the teachings of medicine, which can be truly profound and life changing.
“The culminating moment of our work is when, within the power of our sacrament, we receive visions, which we call mirations. In the miração we are not mere spectators of our vision. Instead, we are the protagonists of an action that takes place in a real and at the same time numinous world. It is in this state that we are invited to present our knowledge and learn a little more.”
“We the Shawãdawa live around the upper Juruá River on four demarcated tribal lands. Today, the main purpose of the Shawã people is to protect our lands, our forest, where all our natural medicines and culture are present. The teachings of our ancestors and the use of our sacred medicines brings us this study of healing and our ancestral teachings Shawã means Macaw and Dawa means family, so we are the Macaw Family. Apart from the shamanic medicines like Rapé and Ayahuasca we work with many different medicines from the forest.”
